I'm in Cologne, Germany (Köln, in German). I'm doing well after some minor surgery Sunday. My leg didn't seem to be getting better and I was out of antibiotics so my friend, Sharon, took me to see the doctor and he refered me to a surgeon who removed a fair amount of thickened blood from the area where I'd hit my leg. Yesterday I felt good enough to do some walking around Cologne with Sharon and my leg is actually feeling pretty good this morning and I'm looking forward to doing a little sight seeing in my remaining time here.

I hope that Shruthi's hand is recovered also. I sure enjoyed getting to see you both last Friday. Thanks again for coming to get me.
