The plane that brought us to Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

You could win this car, at least if you read Dutch.

Germany-003p | On July 5th Sharon and Rainer took up to a festival. There were various interesting things to see including some science demonstrations, such as one that tore a pop can in half with a bang, demonstrating induced electric currents and the magnetic fields they produce. There was a functioning model geyser and a tub of cornstarch and water that one could jump onto but not stand on without sinking. I'd never realzed how strange corn starch is when mixed with water.

Sharon and Rainer took us to Openluchtmuseum (Open Air Museum) in Arnhem, The Netherlands. No, this isn't a UFO, even if it looks like one. Inside is an auditorium that can turn and tilt. We saw information about Holland's and it's history inside with film and displays that the auditorium turned and/or tilted to face. While this was indoors, most things were outside.

At the Openluchtmuseum we also saw buildings that showed how people lived in Holland in the past.
