Leaving Chihuahua we saw this statue of Emiliano Zapata, who led the revolution in the south while Pancho Villa led it in the north. Look at these strange hills in the enlargement. This was on the way back to the border at Ojinaga.

This is the courthouse in Marfa, Texas. Have you heard of the famous Marfa lights? This is the only Marfa light we saw on the trip. Headed back to Ft. Davis.

Cactus near the parking area at the Davis Mountains Education Center. Again we stayed at the Hotel Limpia. I always want to say Olympia, but the hotel gets it's name from nearby Limpia Creek. "Limpia" in Spanish is "clean" in English.

Back to the Davis Mountains Education Center for dinner. Kit Kat, our cook, fixed our meals. She is a Texan who was born in Tiawan. She's a very nice lady, and a good cook too. This poster hangs in the diningroom.

This is the Jeff(erson) Davis County courthouse in Ft. Davis. We were on our way back to the Limpia Hotel to get our bags and check out. Linda liked this pillow in the lobby of the Limpia Hotel. The Limpia Hotel lobby.
