Our train comes ... to take us to Copper Canyon.

As we were riding alson the side of a mountain I looked down and saw the wresks of two train cars below us. They were gone before we could get a picture. But Linda kept watching and got this picture of ta third wrecked train car. Look right of center, just above the foreground rocks.

This looks like it had fallen from the tracks too, but it didn't look like a train car exactly. Maybe it was freight. We stopped in the town of Divisidero for 15 minutes and walked to the rim of the canyon and took pictures.

Walking to and from the train there were lots of vendors.

Oswaldo, right, keeps an eye on us Elderhostelers on the way back to the train. A few miles down the track the train let us off ... and we walked to a waiting bus ... and boarded for the short ride to our hotel on the rim.
